What makes Nokia India Fest specifically unique is its scale and size, which is not limited by geography, reaching out to 28000 colleges across India.

Speaking of this pioneering initiative, Prem Kamath, GM, Channel said, ''A college festival of this scale and magnificence has never been executed before & we see this as an annual property which will only grow year after year”.

Currently Nokia India Fest 2011 has 661 colleges registered with 40000 students who have enrolled to attend the college festival. Students can register via participation in any of the 15 events in order to make it to the festival. The first step of which is qualifying at one of the 12 zonals happening in 6 cities; Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkota, Pune, Chennai & Bangalore.

The ones not participating also have a lot to look forward to.  What makes this event an experience is the line-up of 20 international artists that includes electrifying performances by Skazi, Shpongle, Mohit Chauhan, Shaair n Func, The Rescues, Jalebee Cartel, Indus Creed and acts by famous stand up comedians, rope artists and fire performers. Besides activities like beach volleyball, areas like the Chill Out Zone and flea market bring alive Goa in its true spirit.

A non- participant can earn his right to be a part of this festival. This comprises him in earning points via online activations or visiting any of the 300 outlets across 30 brands such as Nokia, Lenovo, Lee, Loot, Croma, Fame, Crossword, Mocha, FCUK, Esbeda, Catwalk, Landmark, etc where they get a card with a unique code redeemable for a range of points on the website, www.indiafest.in

Nokia has come on board as the title sponsor of this festival & has extensively activated registrations on ground through their priority stores & OVI store.
