Zee TV Makes Strong Come Back; Replaces Sony From No.3

Colors and Star Plus jump high in the last week of TAM in 2010.

TAM people meter has brought good news for Star Plus, Colors and Zee TV at the end of year. Riding on high ratings for grand finale episode of MasterChef India, Star Plus has jumped upto 368 GRPs (last week 346). The MasterChef India finale has garnered a TVR of 4.2.

Performing well with its fiction, non-fiction and film properties, Colors too has taken a high jump and taken its GRPs to 290 as compared to 265 in last week.

Zee TV has made a strong come back at No.3 position leaving Sony Entertainment Television far behind in the last and 52^nd week of TAM in 2010. According to the TAM data released for week 52, Zee TV is 52 GRPs ahead of Sony. Zee has garnered 231 TVRs as compared to 192 in the last week while Sony has slipped to 179 GRPs from 215 in last week.

Zee Rishtey Awards and grand finale of Sa Ra Ga Ma Pa has helped Zee TV with 4.4 and 2.8 TVRs respectively.

Sony's flagship reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Ja has settled at 3.4 TVR after a grand opening TVR of 5.4 in its first week.

SAV TV is consistent with 146 GRPs (last week 145) followed by Imagine 83 (last week 89), Star One 37 (last week 40) and Sahara One 29 (last week 31).
