Uday Sodhi Quits Balaji Telefilms As CEO

Joins HeadHonchos.com as Chief Executive Officer.

Uday Sodhi has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of HeadHonchos.com, India's first career portal exclusively for senior management professionals. HeadHonchos is an initiative of ABC Consultants.

Uday brings extensive cross-sectoral experience to the desk and is committed to positioning the new venture as the most specialised and preferred job search service in the online space.

Prior to joining HeadHonchos.com, Uday was CEO of Balaji Telefilms – New Media Business, where he was responsible for building a mobile VAS – mobile entertainment - and internet business for the company. Uday has spent the last 10 years of his 20-year career in the internet business. He was Sr. Vice President, Interactive Services at Rediff.com for almost five years. He has also worked in various senior management capacities with Net4India Ltd., a leading Internet infrastructure company, Bausch and Lomb India, and Madura Coats.

Speaking on his new assignment, Uday Sodhi said, “HeadHonchos.com is going to be an interesting and a challenging internet project with a vision of bringing a paradigm shift in senior management recruitment in India. I am looking forward to significant learning and to leading a talented team of professionals.”

A post graduate in Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Uday has been instrumental in managing the sales, marketing and business development departments of the aforementioned companies before moving into strategic general management roles.
