IRS Q3 2010: Top 10 Dailies In Rajasthan

publive-imageLittle has changed in the readership figures of Rajasthan. The Royal state is still being ruled by Rajasthan Patrika with an AIR of 71, 35,000. Patrika has strengthened its position in the state by adding 3, 30,000 more readers to its kitty.  The paper has grown by 5% in the current quarter. In Q2 of IRS 2010 Patrika had readership of 68, 05,000.

Dainik Bhaskar is at No.2 position with 61, 04,000 readers. The paper has lost 17,000 readers in the current quarter.  IN Q2 Bhaskar had an AIR of 61, 21,000. In Q2 of IRS 2010 Bhaskar gained 1,21,000 readers.

At No. 3 is Dainik Navjyoti with 4, 17,000 readers. The hindy daily shown growth of 5%in its AIR and has gained 21000 readers. The paper had an AIR of 3, 96,000 in Q2 of IRS 2010.

publive-imageEnglish daily The Times of India has continued with its good performance in Rajasthan as well and is at 4th spot. The paper has added 5000 more readers in this IRS too and is no. 1 among English dailies with an AIR of 1.99 lakh. In Q2 TOI had an AIR of 1.94 lakh and the paper gained 15000 readers in that quarter too.

Daily News is at no. 5 spot with an AIR of 1.75 lakh. The paper has lost 9000 readers in the current quarter and has seen decline of 5% in its readership. The Q2 of IRS 2010 daily News had an AIR of 1.84 lakh.

Punjab Kesri continues with its bad performance in Rajashtan too. The paper has lost 13000 readers in the current IRS and is at no. 6 position with 1.55 lakh raders. Kesri had an AIR of 1.6 lakh in Q2 of IRS 2010.

At no. 7 is Hindi daily News Today. The paper has lost maximum readers in the current IRS. The paper has an AIR of 1.34 lakh as compared to 1.82 lakh in the Q2 of IRS 2010.

Hindi daily Rashtradoot is at no. 8 spot with 78000 readers. The paper has gained 1000 more readers in the current IRS.

At no 9 is nation's No. 2 English daily Hindustan Times. The paper has gained 4000 readers in the current IRS and has taken its AIR to 43000. HT had an AIR of 39000 in Q2 of IRS 2010.

DNA continues to lose readers in Rajasthan as well. The English daily has lost 6000 readers in Q3 of IRS 2010. The paper has an AIR of 25000 as compared to 31000 in Q2 of IRS 2010.
