How Much Can You Love Your Logo?

N.Ramesh is so obsessed with the logo of his yet to be launched Fertilizer Films that he wears it as pendant!

Rajat Arora | Delhi | December 15, 2010

Is there any need to explain how much difference a good logo can make to your brand? Logo is one impression which remains in the mind of people and eventually becomes the identity of a brand. From Brand Image to Brand recall, it’s only the logo which captures the imagination.

And if your logo is something unusual it can do wonders. Fertilizer Films Logo is doing the same thing for N.Ramesh, who has just put in his papers as Executive Creative Director at Meridian Communications, Bangalore, with his friend Vinod Lal to start his own Ad film production company Fertilizers Films.

His love for his soon to be launched company’s logo can be gauged with the fact that he wears the logo as pendants. Even the logo is not usual, N Ramesh says, “We're so happy with our logo that we wear it as pendants. It creates an instant impression wherever we go. People always notice the shining pendant on our chests. Some think it is a double peace sign. Some think it is a tree. We say it is all that they think it is. We love the *BLING* effect it creates. After all, films are about glitz and glamour.”

Talking about his new venture, Ramesh told BestMediaInfo.com, “Fertilizer Films will conceptualize, create and produce ad films. We liked the name because Fertilizer is the symbol of growth and commercials are made for the growth of the brand. Having a strong advertising background, our film making will be a bit different from other production houses. We will provide our clients one stop solution for all film related needs.”

Ramesh says that he feels proud in wearing Fertilizer Films Logo as it gives various connotations to people and can’t be type casted.

Ramesh has made a special mark for himself in the design industry even at international level. Making bestmediainfo.com acquaintance with his earlier work, Ramesh said, “Ever since we teamed up four years ago, we've had a rich haul of design awards including a CLIO Gold, 2 Silvers at London International Advertising Awards, 10 finalists at Communications Arts & Design,5 finalists at Cannes, finalist at British Design & Art Direction(D&AD) and 15 works in ONE SHOW design.”
