CNBC-TV18 Hosts 'Working.People.Light'
Joins hands with Philips for a unique initiative on rejuvenation by transforming workplaces.

In what was another pioneering effort, CNBC-TV18 and Philips, a leading Health and Well-being company, initiated 'Working.People.Light', an on- ground panel discussion that was held recently in Mumbai. The event brought together HR professionals, architects, CXO's and creative experts discussing and debating their views on transforming workplaces.
Working.People.Light was designed as a platform for the panelists to bring aesthetics, ambience and productivity together to enable workplaces that transcend boredom and homesickness to involve employees in a productive work culture. Today work places consume the best part of the life of an individual; they are more like a second home. It therefore becomes imperative for companies that they offer the best environment at the work place, to ensure that the workforce feel energetic, resulting in a productive contribution. For this, the spectrum of work space environment needs to undergo a paradigm shift. How can these changes happen? Who can bring about this change? Why is it important? These are the questions that our carefully selected panel of guests aimed at answering.
The panelists present at the On-ground panel discussion included renowned architects and professionals with interest in workplaces and employee productivity. The panelists were Prasenjit Bhattacharya, CEO of Great Places to work, Ravi Sarangan, Director, Edifice Architects Pvt. Ltd., Kamal Malik an architect from Total Environment, Adil Malia, Group President, HR at the Essar Group, Hafiz Contractor, Architect and Nirupam Sahay, Senior Director Marketing at Philips Lighting.
