The German carmaker Volkswagen India has appointed G2 Direct and Digital, the digital arm of Grey Worldwide, as its digital agency. Volkswagen already has G2rams, the brand activation agency of Grey Worldwide, for its BTL campaigns.
Industry sources have confirmed the development with BestMediaInfo.com.
It was a multi-agency pitch where the incumbent agency Tribal DDB and G2 Direct and Digital were shortlisted for the final round.
The company has planned to spend about Rs.8 crore on its digital campaigns.
However, the mainline creative agency and media agency of Volkswagen India remains same. DDB Mudra handles the creative duties while Mediacom handles the media duties for the German carmaker in India.
