Scarecrow Communications, founded by creative duo Manish Bhat - Raghu Bhat along with Joy (Arunava) Sengupta and Vivek Suchantiwe, has got a new address which is far far away from currently popular Ad World's cliché tic suburban locations like Andheri East and Goregaon East… located amidst the heritage architecture of DN Road, Fort at walking distance from Mumbai's famous landmarks like Gateway of India, Tajmahal Palace, Victoria Terminus, Flora Fountain, Kala Ghoda, JJ School of Art, St. Xavier's College, Jehangir Art Gallery, BMB and Chemould Art Gallery.
Unlike other ad agencies offices, at the Scarecrow Entrance Lobby, instead of Scarecrow logo, one will find hundreds of Scarecrow Images to engage the visitor at the first glance.
The agency has also set up Scarecrow Designs. 'Scarecrow Designs' is a Division of Scarecrow Communications Ltd. No, it is not a wing of Scarecrow that will deal with corporate design and brand identity. In fact, it is an initiative to give a creative platform to the young talent within company or in the industry or ad schools to express their 'pure creativity'. Under Scarecrow Designs, 2 initiatives are being started: 1) Scarecrow Art Gallery (Now Ready and open) where half of office walls will be dedicated to curate art created by young artistes. 2) www.scarecrowdesigns.net (Currently, under construction) It is a website where young talent can display and sell merchandise like T-Shirts etc., on a profit sharing basis.
So, Scarecrow Designs is all about creative liberty and then seeing it getting applied, in the real world. So that they don't have to get desperate 'to express it through fake ads and then spend a bomb, trying to enter it in expensive award shows.
The new office of Scarecrow has a Mini Auditorium, where world's greatest ads and other inspiring work will be shown continuously, here, industry personalities and renowned people from other creative fields can take inspiring sessions for students and young talent. Besides, the design of work station has been derived from form of a POOL TABLE.
