When experts come together, one ought to be prepared for surprises. Star Plus', Amul Presents MasterChef India, a show that takes viewers on a unique culinary tour, achieves a special milestone as it gives the Country, its biggest ever chocolate éclair. Passionately prepared by 25 chefs over 72 hours, this gastronomic milestone is all set to create new records. It stands 26 feet tall at the Atrium, Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. Chef Kunal Kapoor and Chef Ajay Chopra - the judges of the show – have led this outstanding project.

The final 12 contestants of Star's 'Amul presents MasterChef India' along with the experts from the kitchen of 'The Leela Kempinski' have created this record breaking éclair on which work began about three days ago with different layers being made by separate teams. These layers were then brought together and assembled with security harnesses. Huge rollers & gigantic paint brushes were brought in, to give finishing touches to this chocolate wonder of the world.

Speaking at the event, Star India's Spokesperson said, " MasterChef is not just about cooking, it is about living gastronomy on the edge. As we launched 'Amul Presents MasterChef India', on Star Plus, we decided that we will introduce cooking with a new dramatic twist. Star Plus is a leader in the Hindi GEC Category and has always introduced path-breaking innovations for its viewers. This is going to be India's first-of-its-kind éclair pyramid and it will take the show beyond the realms of just television entertainment and set new records. With this creation, we have taken the art of cooking to an all new high and we are extremely proud at the execution of such a wonderful project”.

Congratulating the team and affirming the record representative from Limca Book of Records, Senior Editor, Arthy Muthanna Singh said, “The MatserChef team alongwith the team of Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon has created the largest chocolate éclair pyramid of India, today. The structure stands 26.8 feet tall at the Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. It is a first of its kind achievement in its own right.”
