publive-imageAniruddha Banerjee, Chairman, Publicis Ambience has decided to move on and will leave on December 31st. Effective immediately Nakul Chopra CEO Publicis South Asia has assumed charge of the agency management.

Making this announcement Nakul Chopra said, “Over the last 3 years Ani has done a great job in taking Publicis Ambience forward. The quality of work, the outstanding awards performance, the relationships with clients and new business wins are all testaments to this. We will miss him but we do respect his desire to make this change and wish him success for his future.”

Elaborating on further plans, Nakul said, “Today Publicis Ambience is poised to capitalize its momentum. I have been part of the leadership of this agency for 15 years now and naturally know it very well. I have hence decided to personally lead Publicis Ambience – at least till such time as we meet the ambitious goals and milestones we have set for ourselves over the next 12-24 months.”

Commenting on his departure Aniruddha added “It was a great stint at Publicis Ambience. The agency has added business and reputation – it has great people – and it is poised to go to the next level. Unfortunately my personal priorities make it imperative that I make this move. I wish Nakul and his team all the very best.”

Ashish Khazanchi, Vice Chairman heading Creative and S. Subramanyeswar , National Planning Director leading the Planning team, will continue to drive forward the agency's strategy and plans working closely with Nakul Chopra.
