Masterchef India Opens At 2.6 TVR On TAM Peoplemeter

Gets tough competition from Khali in Bigg Boss; riding on KBC, Sony again becomes No.3 channel of India.

The third big ticket reality show launched this month Masterchef India has witnessed weaker opening in comparison to the two shows launched early this month. The opening episode of Masterchef India on Star Plus has garnered a TVR of 2.6 according to TAM data released for week 42.

The opening episode of Masterchef India got a tough competition from Bigg Boss-4 as Colors had introduced the WWE champion Khali into Bigg Boss house. The episode which introduced Khali into Bigg Boss house has got a TVR of 4.2.

Meanwhile, riding on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Sony has again pushed back Zee TV to become the number 3 Hindi general entertainment channel. Star Plus and Colors remain country's no.1 and no.2 channels respectively.
