Komli Media Acquires UK-based Indoor Media
Second acquisition in 4 month to strengthen its position in Australia , Canada, USA and UK.

Komli Media, a digital media network platform, has acquired Indoor Media, a UK-based online ethnic marketing media company, to strengthen its operations in the international market. In June 2010, Komli Media had acquired Australian firm PostClick.
In July, Komli Media raised a second round of venture capital funding of $6 million from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. It is believed that a major part of funding has been used for this acquisition.
Announcing the move, Prashant Mehta, COO, Komli Media said, “The UK is the world's largest digital advertising market with a nearly 23% share and Indoor Media targets affluent South Asian users on this network. Our move will help the company strengthen its position in Australia , Canada, USA and UK.
While offering digital advertising technologies to marketers ranging from performance marketing to online audience measurement and brand impact measurement, Komli is building a strong presence in the ethnic marketing space. In India, it has partnerships with sites such SanjeevKapoor and Babycenter and in Australia it has ties with Bloomberg and Hotfrog amongst others.
Founded in 2007 the London based Indoor Media is one of the leading online ethnic marketing companies which focuses on South Asians. The company covers more than 400 websites across verticals like news, business, entertainment and women and offers an aggregate reach of 2.6 million ethnic minority unique users in the, primarily comprised of South Asians, the largest ethnic minority group there. The company's clients include marketers such as Mercedes, the UK government, O2, Vodafone and Western Union among others.
