The last category “Search” has only one award named “Best Creative Search Award” for search campaigns that go beyond online direct response to achieve objectives such as driving offline sales, brand support, new product launches, buzz capitalization, integrating search with of- and online media and using search to support other media channels.

For entries to be considered, the works must be used and should have run in atleast two of the five top internet sites in India (and not ad networks) between July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010.

Last year JWT took the Yahoo! Big Idea Chair award for their campaign 'A day in the life of Chennai', the campaign created for the launch of The Times of India in Chennai. Arun Tadanki, Managing Director, Yahoo! India presented the award to the winners who finally took their purple seat amidst a lot of fanfare and a lot of purple glaze.
