publive-imageIndia's premier Sports Channels, Zee Sports and Ten Sports will telecast LIVE and Exclusive 'YONEX BWF World Championship 2010' from Pierre de Coubertin Paris. The matches from Quarter finals onwards will be shown LIVE and Exclusive on Zee Sports and Ten Sports. This is the most prestigious tournament in Badminton.

Competing as individuals in five events, Men's singles, Women's singles, Men's and Women's doubles and Mixed doubles, success conveys the title of World Champion on the winner(s). First held in 1977 and originally being held every two years the World Championships has since 2003 been held every year except Olympic years.

All Indian eyes will be on India's sensation and World No.2 Saina Nehwal as she tries to land India's first ever medal at the Championships. Saina Nehwal has been on a roll in 2010, winning 3 consecutive international titles, including 2 Super Series titles at Singapore and Indonesia. These superb performances at the Super Series events have catapulted her to No.1 position in the BWF Super Series Rankings.

Aditi Mutatkar (Women's Singles), Diju Diju V and Jwala Gutta (Mixed Doubles), Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa (Women's Doubles), Kashyap P and Chetan Anand (Men's Singles) are other players representing Team India in different categories.
