After watching Aamir khan in various avatars (Turban clad sikh guy, puppeteer and half man & women) in earlier Tata sky commercials, this time Mr. Perfectionist has decided to keep it simple, yet powerful.

Inspired by his 3 idiots style the actor in the latest TVC of Tata Sky is seen talking about how teaching has gone beyond classroom’s and how people can now learn sitting at home with the help of the Educational Services available on Tata Sky’s interactive platform.


The new campaign of the DTH player aims to promote Educational Services, company’s area of special focus. Thus this commercial not only scores high on its simple message delivered across audience but also highlights the introduction of new applications from the company such as Actve Wizkids, Actve Stories, Actve Learning & Actve English.

Titled as “Badalte India Ke Badalte Classrooms”, the TVC steals the show with its well articulated and interesting body copy. Despite a well knitted TVC and a strong script the apple of the pie is definitely Aamir Khan, who with his effervescent style and penchant delivers the message right on board.

The central theme of the TVC is to showcase how learning has gone beyond classrooms with technology playing an important role. Interestingly Tata Sky with its Educational Service has already crossed around 10 lakh homes along with 850 schools and with its right the clock availability this service by the company is expected to create a bigger buzz in the market. And with Aamir Khan’s two home production Peepli Live and Dhobi Ghaat to be released, the timing of TVC calls for a perfect shot!
