Tata Teleservices has called a media and creative pitch/review for its brands Tata Docomo and Tata Photon. The pitch was called last week. The incumbent agency for the media account is MediaCom. The creative duties are currently handled by Contract Advertising. Sources close to the development confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com.
The sources said that a decision will be taken in a month's time. Among the agencies participating in the media pitch are Lodestar UM, ZenithOptimedia and incumbent agency MediaCom.
The account size is pegged at around Rs 100-150 crore. According to news reports, earlier the brands' account size was Rs 175 crore.
In April 2014, the telecom company awarded its creative and media duties to Contract and MediaCom, respectively. Before Contract and MediaCom, the account was handled by FCB Ulka and Lodestar UM.
