Fox Life is back with Soundtrek 2^nd season

The show captures the musical journey of renowned artistes such as Palash Sen, Uday Benegal and Mikey McCleary as they travel across the country and collaborate with local musicians

Fox Life is back with the second season of 'Soundtrek', the musical extravaganza in which India's popular artistes give a hypnotic twist to some of Bollywood's iconic classics. The show will be aired from September 1, every Monday and Tuesday, at 10 PM.

Soundtrek captures the musical journey of geniuses like Palash Sen and his band Euphoria, Uday Benegal, the pioneer of Indian Rock band Indus Creed, Gurdeep Mehendi, popular Punjabi singer, Mikey McCleary, man behind the re-interpretations of songs like Khoya Khoya Chand, Hawa Hawai, Hipnoribe, Mumbai based funk/jazz/rock band, Amit Kilam, Indian Ocean drummer,  sufi singer Dhruv Sangari and many news bands like Nasya, Swarthma and Fossils as they explore India's most memorable songs in a city that connects best with it, collaborate with local artists and create magic. The artists trek through the country including places like Jaipur, Amritsar, Benaras, Lucknow, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaisalmer and Kolkata to trace the stories and people who inspired the songs.

Viewers can watch Benegal give his fusion to 'Nimbooda Nimbooda', Sen and his band Euphoria create their version of the classic 'Khaaike Paan Banaraswala', Mehendi give a spin to hits like 'Jugni' and 'Tu Tak Tu Tak Tutiya', or Kilam, swirl some Bollywood classics like 'Inhi Logo Ne' and 'Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahi'.
