Seven matches in week six register peak concurrency of more than three crore with MI vs RCB match registering a peak concurrency of 4.7 crore, the highest for week six

'Rivalry week' adds 2.1 crore new viewers on Disney Star Network; Ratings up 44% 

Disney Star Network Thursday said that it continued to break viewership records in the ongoing season of IPL. 

The television rights holder said that it added 2.1 crore new viewers in the rivalry week of IPL 2023, which happened to be week six of the tournament (Source: All BARC Data for the live broadcast of the first 57 matches). 

This takes the tally of total live broadcast viewership to 47.14 crore after 57 games, which is the highest in IPL history at the same stage, said the broadcaster. 

Disney Star said seven matches in week six crossed a peak concurrency of three crores with the MI vs RCB match registering a peak concurrency of 4.7 crore, the highest for week six. 

Compared to the last edition, the broadcaster also witnessed a y-o-y growth of more than 44% in Weekly TVR (Week 6).
