Star Sports, the official television broadcaster of IPL 2023, has announced a collaboration with Prime Video for ‘Citadel’ - as part of which actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden will feature in the ‘Cricket Live’ show.
The two stars will be present on Star Sports’ show ‘Cricket Live’ to promote their upcoming global original series ‘Citadel’ – a spy thriller.
The ‘Cricket Live’ show will feature the two actors in talks with Star Sports’ talents and former cricketers Irfan Pathan and Tom Moody.
The special segment will air in the lead-up to IPL 2023 matches on April 21, 22, and 23, 2023.
The global series, Citadel, will stream exclusively on Prime Video from April 28, 2023.
The segment also reveals how surprised Jonas is to find out the market value of Virat Kohli in the first IPL auction. “Virat Kohli was picked up by RCB for just 30,000 USD in 2008. Is that true? I don’t think that could be true.” mentions Priyanka.
To provide fans with a glimpse into this collaboration, Star Sports has released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Jonas and Madden alongside the Star Sports talent.
The BTS highlights ‘The Grand Citadel Challenge’ aims to intrigue viewers to watch the entire segment, as the series is set to premiere in just a few days.
