ET Edge is going to present the seventh edition of Global Business Summit (GBS).

GBS will see an array of top global leaders across a wide spectrum of domains converging at Taj Palace, New Delhi, to find answers to the most pressing concerns facing the world today.

GBS 2023 will be held on February 17-18 and is expected to be attended by over 2,000 delegates from across the world.

The summit is being held a time when the world order is undergoing tectonic changes due to multiple disruptions driven by technology, geopolitical developments, and calamities exasperated by climate change, along with several other pressing issues.

The seventh edition of GBS will bring together visionaries, thought leaders, heads of state, policymakers, climate advocates, academicians, and corporate heads to advance this agenda and exert the momentum needed to find sustainable and practical solutions to these issues.

Deepak Lamba, CEO, World Wide Media and President, Times Strategic Solutions, said, “The 2023 edition of GBS will build upon the experience of the global community to address some of the pressing challenges of our times which if left unaddressed today, will have far reaching consequences on the future. The power of positive collaboration has always been instrumental in addressing complex issues with global repercussions. It will be our endeavour to draw attention to such issues and provide a platform to promote a free-flowing interchange of thoughts towards sustainable global growth.’

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will be the chief guest this year.

GBS has drawn guests from the United States, Canada, Egypt, Ireland, Russia, Belgium, Britain, Greece and Israel over the years.

This year, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri Cabinet Member and UAE Minister of Economy, Ted Sarandos Co-CEO Netflix, Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and CEO Schneider Electric, Bob Moritz, Global Chairman, PwC, Hans-Paul Bürkner, Global Chair Emeritus, BCG, Alexander MacDonald, Chief Economist, NASA are some of the leaders among other speakers and attendees.
