Levi's X Deepika Padukone launch season 2 of their collaboration

Levi’s and Deepika Padukone have announced the launch of the second season of their collection, after the successful first season.

As per the brand, the collection is forward-looking, full of fun and represents all things summer.

Inspired by Padukone’s signature cool athleisure-meets-effortlessly sexy style, the collection features elevated dyeing techniques, hybrid silhouettes, and utility elements in a mix of spirit-lifting colours and earthy neutrals. Taking cue from the expressive style of the 1970s, the collection is a little looser, a little slouchier but unequivocally Levi’s.

“For me, the second season of my collaboration with Levi’s is what summer truly feels like; bright, joyful and happy. It’s a reflection of my personal style married with what is quintessential Levi’s,” Padukone added.

Denim is an integral part of this collection. It takes the form of vintage-inspired, super versatile, high-rise wardrobe staples like the 70’s high flare and 70’s high slim straight, both featuring a retro rise with a curve-hugging fit and a slight stacking in the latter.

This collection is tied together by some summer essentials like tie-dyes in bright pops of colours as well as features an earthy-toned range of shirts and tops.

Further committing to a new love of comfort with style, we see a range of hybrid and elevated sweat-dresses and sweatsuits. The collaboration also draws from Padukone’s love of classics with a twist and features a blazer and short set, shirts with dramatic sleeves and pleats to jumpsuits, all grounded in earthy and neutral tones

The Levi’s x Deepika Padukone Collaboration 2.0 will be available at Levi’s® retail outlets, Levi.in and select partner e-commerce platforms from today.
