Shah Rukh Khan teams up with Disney+ Hotstar; Salman Khan teases fans calling SRK+ an OTT app

Actor Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media platforms to announce that big news is expected from him soon in the OTT world. “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein,” said his post along with a photo of the actor and a caption that said ‘SRK+”.

Soon after SRK’s post, Salman Khan added to speculations saying SRK+ is an OTT app.

Karan Johar also reacted to the news and said it will change the face of OTT.

Another Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap stated he may collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan on the new app soon. “Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+,” said the director.

According to the sources, this social media post of SRK has to do with his association with Disney+ Hotstar. Although it’s not known if it is about some content partnership, upcoming project or it is just a brand campaign.

A few months ago, Shah Rukh Khan had created a buzz in a similar fashion which later turned out to be an ad campaign for Disney+Hotstar and was widely known as the ‘Siway SRK’ campaign.

The ‘Siway SRK’ films for Disney+Hotstar were created by All things Small, directed by Ayappa and produced by Early Man Films.
