YouTube has announced the annual price for its YouTube premium and YouTube Music premium offerings.
The annual plans will cost Rs 1,159, non-recurrent yearly-basis, for YouTube Premium and Rs 889 for YouTube Music Premium for Indian customers.
The annual subscription plans for the two streaming platforms by Google has been announced for users in addition to the pre-existing quarterly and monthly plans.
The quarterly and monthly subscription plans are available for Rs 399 and Rs 139 for YouTube Premium and Rs 309 and Rs 109 for YouTube Music Premium, respectively.
The annual rates announced currently are part of the introductory plan, and the actual prices are yet to be revealed by the company. However, users can purchase this and later they will be shifted to the annual plan which will be revealed at a later date.
The users with quarterly or monthly subscriptions will have to wait until their package expires and then take the annual plans if they so desire.
An annual subscription can be taken using an Android device or the internet, an in-app sign-up for IOS device users has not been laid out by the company as of now.
As per YouTube, that the new annual plans are currently available in India, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, and the US.
