A press statement issued by James Hawkins, CEO of PHD APAC, said, “Throughout her tenure, Jyoti has played an instrumental role in establishing PHD as a bonafide force in India’s agency landscape. We are incredibly grateful for her numerous contributions to our business over the past decade and wish her all the success in her future endeavours.”

In the meantime, it is business as usual for PHD India with no disruption to our business, Hawkins assured.

Former Wavemaker South Asia CEO Kartik Sharma is set to join OMG India as CEO in a few weeks’ time. “His leadership, combined with his solid grasp of India’s media business, will put us in good stead to continue partnering our PHD clients in making the leap with strategic thinking and creative innovation,” added Hawkins.

An engineering and MBA graduate, Bansal joined Omnicom Media Group in 2009 to lead its new business initiatives and when PHD India was established, she was appointed to lead the new agency. Under her leadership, the agency has continued to climb from strength to strength, winning global, regional and local accolades for its innovative approach to communications planning.
