In a bid to help subscribers meaningfully spend their forced lockdown period, DTH platform Tata Sky has offered its top 10 services for free. To promote this initiative, the brand launched its ‘Now Stay Home, Stay Jingalala’ campaign.

The services ranging from dance tutorials, cooking, fitness, learning services for children will ensure that there is no dearth of avenues to make the best of subscriber’s time at home.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy India, the #ChaloGharBaitheBaitheKuchNayaSeekhein TVC campaign was shot and directed remotely by ordinary people on their phone cameras from seven cities without putting any life at risk in the making of the film (Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Lucknow, Chennai, Jodhpur).

Not a single person stepped out of their homes for the production. The film was executed in a period of two days.

Directed by Bauddhayan Mukherji of Little Lamb Films, the campaign stays true to #StayHomeStayJingalala concept.

Talking about the campaign, Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, said, “In times like these, it’s important that brands contribute to help their consumers in its own way. By deciding to free up services, Tata Sky is doing its bit to entertain and engage its subscribers while they stay at home.”

Apart from the free access, the brand is offering emergency credit facility available to subscribers who have been unable to recharge their accounts to ensure access to uninterrupted entertainment

The emergency credit facility will provide subscribers a balance loan for a specified time period. The credited amount will be debited from the user's account as soon the service is re-activated without any interest.

The credit facility can be easily accessed by giving a free missed call. The free interactive services can easily be accessed on the set-top box or on the Tata Sky Mobile App.
