The Union Budget is an important annual milestone for both individuals and the corporate sector, since it outlines national economic priorities for the year ahead. Every year, CNN-IBN attempts to decode the inherent complexities of the Budget for viewers. This year too CNN-IBN has a line-up of special programming it has named as 'The Budget Booster'. The channel will bring a wide array of programming that will assess and evaluate the impact of the Budget on individuals, the industry and the overall Indian economy.

Apart from the live coverage of the Union and Railway Budgets, the extensive programming will comprise multiple special shows and segments. The special segment, 'If I were FM', will ask viewers' to share that one thing they would announce in the Budget had they been the Finance Minister. The 'Corporate Wishlist' will find CXOs talking of their expectations from the Budget. The channel will air this exclusive programming for the Budget all through February.
