The board of directors of Media Research Users Council (MRUC) unanimously elected CVL Srinivas, CEO, GroupM South Asia, as the new Chairman for remaining period of outgoing Chairman Ravi Rao. Highly placed sources have confirmed the development with BestMediaInfo.com.

Srinivas takes over from Rao who moved to Dubai this month as Chief Client Officer of Mindshare MENA. Rao was appointed MRUC Chairman in September 2013 when he was Leader, Mindshare South Asia.
