Eureka Forbes has announced the appointment of Sameer Wanchoo as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Wanchoo will be responsible for leading all the marketing activities across categories, accelerating the company’s growth and strengthening the brand’s overall leadership position.
Wanchoo brings with him two decades of experience across diverse consumer businesses. An astute knowledge of marketing management, customer insights and market planning in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector are his core competencies. Prior to this, he was associated with Cavin Kare India as Vice-President, Marketing, focusing on establishing their digital centre of excellence, research and scaling up e-commerce for the personal care segment. Wanchoo has also worked with renowned organisations like Pantaloons Retail India, Dabur India and Mattel India.
In the internal realignment, Shashank Sinha, a veteran at Eureka Forbes, earlier responsible for the marketing function, moves into the role of Chief Transformation Officer, leading business transformation.
