Subhrangshu Neogi, head of group marketing and brand at Religare, has put in his papers. Highly placed sources have confirmed the development with Best Media Info. While his next move is not yet known, it is learnt that he is currently on the notice period and will be with the company till January 31, 2018.
Neogi could not be reached till the time of filing this report; however, according to multiple sources, he is evaluating options between conventional leadership roles with corporates and co-creation opportunities with various tech-led and other emerging platforms.
In the group CMO role with Religare for the past 11 years, he has overseen and orchestrated the journey of the brand from its birth and evolution from a single business-led to a diversified financial services group.
It may also be noted that Religare as a group in the past 15 months has considerably trimmed down and consolidated its business portfolio and the group has also seen some senior leadership exits over the past year or so, coupled with management and board level changes.
A seasoned business and integrated marketing leader for over two decades, he can be credited with many firsts and innovative initiatives in the BFSI space, also is an active thought leader across industry forums.
Prior to Religare he has been associated with brands such as Dabur, Reebok, Bennett Coleman, etc.
