Dishum Broadcasting has announced the launch of its upcoming Bhojpuri GEC, Dishum, in Patna. The channel will be operational from August 15. Bhojpuri actors Ravi Kishan, Pawan Singh, Madhu Sharma and Shivika Dewan were present at the launch event. The channel unveiled its first look along with the International Bhojpuri Film Awards (IBFA).
The Bhojpuri regional market already has players like Dangal, Big Magic, Anjan TV and Mahuaa.

The channel will target family audience from all age-groups with the content mix of fiction and non-fiction shows across genres such as mythology, horror, drama, kids’ shows and others. The channel will also showcase Bhojpuri movies. The channel has acquired exclusive telecast rights for the Yashi Films property IBFA, which will take place in London on July 30, 2017.

This year’s show will have some great performances by Manoj Tiwari, Amarapali Dubey, Nirhuaa and Pakhi Hegde.”
The channel will be available across the major DTH and cable operators from the first day of its launch.
