With the third edition of its annual activation titled ‘No Talkies Nautanki Returns’, Set Max has started off with the sign language competition again. This edition has attracted over 180 entries from the media agencies, which is almost more than double of the last edition of the event.
The event kicked off in Bengaluru on November 22. The first round of this three-city event had 13 teams participating from advertising and media agencies. This will be followed by Mumbai and Delhi with an attempt to find the ‘Filmy Deewana’. The closing night of the event will take place in Mumbai on December 9.
The city rounds of the event commenced from Bengaluru and then Mumbai on November 25. The Delhi rounds will take place on December 2. The finale of the event will be hosted by RJ Malishka. The shortlisted winner teams from three cities will battle it out to win the grand prize worth Rs 25,000 each.
A team of three can participate. They will further be slotted into different groups and compete against each other over fun and fast-paced rounds. This year, surprising twists have been added with rounds like ‘Nau Se Nautanki’ and ‘Panch Ka Panchnama’ to create participant intrigue and challenge them to bring out the best of their creativity and imagination.
The property is an absolute treat for movie buffs as it provides them an opportunity to participate in a national-level competition wherein registered teams play ‘Dumb Charades’ on Bollywood films using hand gestures to enact and communicate with each other. The participating agencies include names like Group M, Madison, OMD, Lodestar, Lintas and MPG among others. During the pre-activation and registration times, Bollywood-themed characters were engaging with the office audience in these agencies to play interactive games and drive registration. The participants can visit the microsite of the event on http://notalkies.sonymax.tv/ to register themselves.
Vaishali Sharma, Senior VP, Marketing and Communications, Sony Max Hindi Movie Cluster, said, “The undying passion for Hindi cinema is what Sony Max is synonymous with and our flagship property ‘No Talkies Nautanki Returns’ takes this passion a notch higher.
