The Social Street has made two senior level appointments in the Strategic Planning and Retail space.
Pradeep Ramakrishnan comes on board as National Head of Strategy and Insights. He brings with him around 18 years of experience in the communications industry. He moves from DDB Mudra Max and TracyLocke, where he spent more than six years overseeing planning for a few verticals which included Media, Retail and Shopper. At The Social Street, he will be working across divisions and will be responsible for spearheading research and data led strategy and insights across its spectrum of clients. He will also be overseeing the development and implementation of tools and processes to enable business solutions.
On joining the agency, Ramakrishnan said, “What excited me about The Social Street is the single-minded focus on finding solutions to business issues through the lens of communication. It was about coming up with solutions that work on ground and deliver results, not just solutions that make clients happy. I am looking forward to working very closely with Pratap, Mandeep and the rest of the leadership team at The Social Street to make this dream into a reality.”
Prashant Oka joins as Associate Vice-President. He brings with him over 11 years of experience across categories, of which five years were dedicated to Shopper Marketing. He moves from TracyLocke, where he helped set up its Shopper Marketing offering. At The Social Street, Oka will be jointly spearheading the Retail and Shopper Marketing agenda for the West Region.
