Zindagi has extended its programming to include an afternoon band from 1 pm to 2.30 pm, titled ‘Fursat Ke Pal’. Starting May 4, 2015, Zindagi will air three new shows every Monday to Saturday – ‘Nirmala Spice World’ at 1 pm, ‘Simply Beautiful’ at 1.30 pm and ‘Sasuraal Ki Galli’ at 2 pm.
Commenting on the launches, Priyanka Datta, Business Head, Zindagi, said, “Zindagi is known for presenting clutter-breaking shows so that viewers experience differentiated content. With ‘Fursat Ke Pal’, we extend our original programming to the afternoon band. Hosted by Nirmala Narine, ‘Nirmala’s Spice World’ is a culinary adventure that will take viewers into a world of exotic spices from around the globe. Each episode will be dedicated to one spice and not only unveil the secrets of how it flavours food, but also heals the body and mind.
Host Roni Proter will unveil the secrets to natural living in ‘Simply Beautiful’. Proter will share natural beauty tips with viewers to help them feel and look their best, naturally. She will explore simple, do-it-yourself healthy alternatives in the world of beauty, fashion and fitness.
‘Sasural ki Galli’ is a new fiction series that encapsulates the journey of self-discovery of a young girl, Meenu, that leads her to realise the true value of love and relationships.
