Manasi Narasimhan has decided to part ways with Mastercard after being associated with the company for nearly six years. Narasimhan was serving as the Vice-President and Head- Marketing and Communications, South Asia, in the company since October 2017.
Sources close to the matter have confirmed the development to BestMediaInfo.com. However, her next move is not known yet.
During her stint at Mastercard, she was tasked with building and driving the equity of the Mastercard brand across six countries, and continually finding ways of delivering business value to Mastercard’s customers– banks, other financial institutions, merchants and consumers.
With her career spanning across 16 years, Narasimhan has worked across sectors like consumer goods companies, media and corporate marketing. Passionate about delivering results and developing impactful campaigns, Narasimhan has specific interest in marketing, including media partnerships, content creation and cross media experiential activation.
Narasimhan had joined Mastercard from Godrej Industries where she served as Associate Vice-President, Strategic Marketing Group for over four-and-a-half years, and was a part of leading marketing initiatives- including the ad campaign with Aamir Khan.
Previously, she was also associated with Turner International as Associate Director- Research and Planning and was later elevated to the role of Director- Strategic Sales Planning in her over two years stint at the company.
She has also worked with Hindustan Unilever, first as Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager and later as Marketing Manager.
