UP Warriorz ropes in Patanjali Ayurved as Principal Sponsor

The team will sport the company’s logo and name on the front of the jersey in all their games in WPL 2023

UP Warriorz have announced Patanjali Ayurved as the team’s Principal Sponsor for the 2023 Women’s Premier League.

The UP Warriorz, one of five teams in the inaugural edition of the WPL, will sport the Patanjali Ayurved logo and name on the front of the jersey in all their games in the WPL 2023. 

Acharya Balkrishna, Managing Director, of Patanjali Ayurved, said, “Patanjali Ayurved is extremely proud to be associated with the UP Warriorz, one of the teams in the historic Women’s Premier League. This association gives us a chance to be part of a bigger movement wherein we are able to support the growing women’s sporting ecosystem. The WPL will be one of the most watched tournaments this year and this partnership not only allows us to grow our brand but also places in the spotlight in terms of encouraging women empowerment.”

The Women’s Premier League is set to be played in Mumbai from March 4-26, 2023. A total of 22 matches will be played with the Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium playing hosts to the marquee tournament. 

The UP Warriorz open their campaign on March 5, with the second game of the day when they face the Gujarat Giants at the DY Patil Stadium.
