Adani Group chairman, Gautam Adani’s appearance in Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, on January 7, 2023, led to India TV garnering 33.6% market share among the top five Hindi news channels in the 2200–2300-hour time slot, as per data from BARC.

Citing BARC data, India TV said that with the airing of the episode featuring Adani the channel surpassed its competitors by a tall margin.

As per the data from BARC for January 7 in the 2200-2300 hour time slot, while India TV stood on top with 33.6% market share, News18 India occupied the second place with 21.2% market share. They were followed by TV9 Bharatvarsh (16.5%), Republic Bharat (14.4%), and Aaj Tak (14.2%), respectively.

As per India TV, the channel has grown threefold in this time slot in unrolled data.

The program was highly rated and watched by viewers of all age groups, achieving a 40.6% market share among NCCS A, as reported by BARC.
