CNN-News18 reclaims top slot in 15+ AB with 33% market share

As per the latest data released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), CNN–News18 has reclaimed the top slot in the English news genre in 15+ AB with a 33% market share in India’s TG 15+ segment.

As per the data, CNN-News18 grew by 3.4% and raced past Republic TV in Week 1 of 2023.

On the other hand, Republic TV slipped to No. 2 with a drop of 1.5% in its market share from the previous rolling week. It recorded a market share of 29.9%.

In 15+ AB, Times Now remained at No. 3 with a market share of 19.3%.

Mirror Now’s market share grew 1% to 11.6%.

India Today Television witnessed a drop of 2.2% in its market share to 5.9%.
