Business Today to organise 'BT Market Today Summit 2023'

Business today is going to organise the ‘BT Market Today Summit’ which will see the coming together of top investors, practitioners, policymakers, global experts, business leaders, and other stakeholders from the Indian capital market ecosystem.

The summit is going to be held in Mumbai on January 24.

The summit will explore key trends and challenges that will help the capital market play a bigger role in India's growth, allowing speakers to share their unique experiences and ideas. Stakeholders from the capital market ecosystem will discuss and debate key trends and issues to better position the Indian capital market to contribute to India's economic growth.

The BT Market Today Summit 2023 will have debates and deliberations on an array of subjects concerning the capital markets, which following deregulation, have seen substantial structural transformations during the previous three decades. 

A Business Today-backed flagship initiative, the BT Market Today Summit 2023 is being held against the backdrop of India's financial markets that have continuously improved, especially compared to other Asian countries. This expansion was driven by government initiatives, regulatory reforms, improved demand-supply dynamics, sustained economic growth, and pension, insurance, and mutual fund money.

Samir Arora, Founder of Helios Capital, will talk on ‘2023: Comeback Year or Deeper Malaise?’ on a panel titled ‘The Coming of Age of Retail Investors,’ industry leaders Nilesh Shah, MD, Kotak Mahindra AMC; Vijay Chandok, MD, ICICI Securities; Basant Maheshwari, Investor and Author: The Thoughtful Investor, and Dhiraj Relli, MD and CEO, HDFC Securities, will also share their insights.

Manisha Girotra, CEO, Moelis India, and Sanjay Mehta, Founder and CEO of 100X.VC, will explore Private Equity Investment Trends in Emerging Markets in another debate. A panel discussion on Mutual Funds: Future Trends will also feature at the Market Today Summit, with speakers including Sankaran Naren, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer, ICICI Prudential AMC, A Balasubramanian, President, AMFI, Sundeep Sikka, ED and CEO, Nippon Life India Asset Management and Rajeev Thakkar, CIO and Director, PPFAS Asset Management.
