How brands are celebrating Raksha Bandhan in 2022

Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the bond between siblings traditionally between brothers and sisters, However, the festival has evolved and people today also celebrate the bonds between friends, parents, siblings and others who make a difference in their lives. 

BestMediaInfo.com tried to find out how brands celebrated the festival this year: 

Asian Paints: The brand took a unique approach towards the relationship between siblings with their campaign titled, ‘First Roommates’. The campaign pinpoints the light-hearted fights, shared between siblings. 

The brand released a film called, ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Tera Kona Hai’ to depict the same. 

Cadbury Celebrations: Cadbury Celebrations is probably the only brand that has year-on-year released memorable campaigns for Raksha Bandhan and Diwali each year. 

This year the brand launched its campaign titled #Connected Rakhi which focuses on reminding people to stay connected on special occasions like Raksha Bandhan. The brand launched a range of Bluetooth-enabled rakhis and an app that lets people record their messages to each other. 

SBI General Insurance: The brand launched a film titled #BandhanBharoseKa which highlights the bond between siblings in supporting each other through the challenges of life across various life stages. 

McDonald’s India- The fast-food chain launched a brand film highlighting the different flavours between siblings. BPCL- In its brand film, the brand paid homage to all the brave hearts who are staying away from their families to protect the country. 

Godrej L’Affaire - The lifestyle brand from the house of Godrej launched a digital film that focuses on teaching people to respect all the relationships around them. Conceptualised by the Godrej Corporate Brand and Communications team, the film aims to foster love, dignity and care with everyone just like the brother-sister bond. 

Ferns N Petals- The gifting brand rolled out a new film starring actor Adah Sharma. The film focused on celebrating the bonds that make our everyday lives easier. The film shows a woman gifting her rickshaw drivers something on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan as he has made her life much easier.
