Venice TV & Branded Content festival opens for 2022 entries

There are 15 categories with key ones being Branded Content, Light Entertainment, Program Promotion, Performing Arts, Children/Youth, Comedy, Best of Technical High Quality, Cross Platform Programming, etc

The Venice TV and Branded Content Festival is now open for entries. The deadline for submission of entries is July 15, 2022.

The Venice TV and Branded Content Award Festival follows the Venice Film Festival every year.

The award body is calling all media companies and TV channels, ad film and content producers, program production and content companies, digital and branded content companies to participate in the festival.

There are 15 categories with key ones being Branded Content, Light Entertainment, Program Promotion, Performing Arts, Children/Youth, Comedy, Best of Technical High Quality, Cross Platform Programming, etc.

Leading lights from global TV networks like Disney, BBC, ITV, Sky Italia, Fox, Kansai TV etc are on the jury every year..

The Venice TV Award is supported by Egta, ACT and the City of Venice. 

Egta is a non-profit association based in Brussels that represents the interests of television and radio sales houses. ACT is an Association of Commercial TV in Europe.

In the recent times, Indian companies have done well in winning awards at the show. Viacom has won Golds every year in the last 4 years for Nickelodeon and Big Boss while Zee, Sony and Freemantle have also won awards in previous years.

Last year, Viacom Nickelodeon's Ident won a Gold while Zee 5 and Freemantle won Finalists for Barot House TV Film and Ted Talks Nayi Baat, respectively.
