The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has launched its newest campaign ‘She Remains The Taj’ on Metaverse.

IHCL leveraged the power of the yet-evolving digital universe technology to host over 500 attendees in a virtual space for the launch of the campaign.

“Right from the opening of the country’s maiden luxury hotel, The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai in 1903, we have brought many firsts to our patrons and to the nation. At the same time, we have also been inclusive in our approach and have always believed in taking our stakeholders along in every step we take. The launch of ‘She Remains the Taj’, that reaffirms our commitment to encouraging and supporting women in every role they play in our journey, was the perfect moment for us to invite all our stakeholders in joining us on Metaverse,” a statement from IHCL read.

The virtual metaverse launch that was hosted on Sunday, saw participation from all IHCL stakeholders over multiple sessions throughout the day.

Decked up aesthetically with the visuals of ‘She Remains The Taj’ campaign, the Metaverse allowed attendees to network and interact with each other and to explore different spaces, much like a physical event venue.

The launch event also saw the release of a film that is a heart-warming and celebratory rendition of ‘She Remains The Taj’, and features IHCL’s women partners, employees and guests, including some well-known faces from Bollywood and other circles.

This was followed by a panel discussion between leaders from different walks of life.
