TV9 Network launches OTT offering 'News9 Plus'

The TV9 Network has announced the launch of its offering – News9 Plus- a video magazine OTT service on Wednesday.

Promoted by TV9 Network, News9 Plus is a service that will operate at the intersection of journalism, presentation, and technology. As per the Network, News9 Plus platform is destined to be the go-to app for nuanced news-based content produced with the best-in-class audio-visual storytelling formats.

The launch was done at an event organised to celebrate the unprecedented success of the news television network in India.

India’s top politicians cutting across party lines joined the celebration. Prominent among these included Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister, Piyush Goyal, Textiles, Commerce and Industry Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister, Anurag Thakur, Sports, Youth & Information & Broadcasting Minister, Prahlad Joshi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Mahendra Nath Pandey, Heavy Industries Minister, Anupriya Patel, Commerce & Industry Minister (MoS), S P Singh Baghel, Law & Justice Minister (MoS), Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi and Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh and Ashish Patel, Technical Education Minister, UP. 

Among MPs who attended included Tejasvi Surya, President, Bharti Yuva Jana Morcha, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, TMC and Sukanta Majumdar, President, West Bengal, BJP. 

Corporate leaders who attended included Piruz Khambatta, Chairman, Rasna, Dr Satinder Pal Singh Bakshi, CMD, Bakson Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Kiran Kumar, MD, Lalithaa Jewellery and Suman Saraf, MD, Radha TMT and Naveen Giria, Director, Girias Investment Private Limited. Prasoon Joshi, lyricist and Chairman, Central Board of Film Certification, too joined the celebration.
