Taproot Dentsu’s Neeraj Kanitkar has joined DDB Mudra Group as the Executive Creative Director-West. He will be reporting to Pallavi Chakravarti, Creative Head-West, and Rahul Mathew, CCO, DDB Mudra Group.
Kanitkar will be based out of Mumbai.
With the movement, Kanitkar bids adieu to his nine-year-long association with Taproot Dentsu. He was serving as the Executive Creative Director at Taproot Dentsu.

Some of Neeraj’s most celebrated works include the much loved “Puja Didi” film for Facebook. Although the film talked about the lockdown and pandemic, like many brands already had, it did not tire the viewers.
During an earlier interaction with BestMediaInfo over the “Puja Didi” film Kanitkar had revealed that the idea wasn’t even a part of the brief given by the brand.
He had said, “With Diwali, the ultimate festival of prosperity upon us, we knew we had an opportunity to tell an extraordinary story that spoke to the moment. After all, 2020 and prosperity simply don’t sit well together.”
