The Q partners with Chingari to launch its first crime fiction show 'Jurm Ka Chehra'

The Q, a Hindi GEC, with presence across digital, social and television platforms, has announced the launch of its first crime fiction show ‘Jurm Ka Chehra’, marking The Q’s foray into the genre. Mobilising the digital creator economy, and in collaboration with Chingari, The Q held virtual audition for the upcoming crime fiction show on the short video platform. Jurm Ka Chehra will premiere on Saturday, September 4, at 9 pm exclusively on The Q. Fresh new episodes will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.

Providing the digital creator community with an opportunity and platform to debut on TV, Chingari users were asked to send in their auditions to The Q in the form of showreels and monologues directly on the platform. Having held auditions on Chingari for 20 days with an ‘Age no Bar’ approach, over 47,000 users participated for a role in Jurm Ka Chehra garnering over a billion impressions. Following this audition process, four Chingari users — The Girish from Nanded, Rubulrox from Assam, Pornima Garg from Lucknow, and Rajesh Singhal from Rajasthan — are the finalists who have bagged a role in the upcoming crime fiction show on The Q that will be hosted by Kinshuk Vaidya.
