CarDekho's Gaurav Mehta has joined Zupee as the Chief Marketing Officer. Mehta will closely work with Dilsher Malhi, Founder and CEO of Zupee, to create a skill-based gaming platform.
On Mehta's appointment, Malhi said, “We are pleased to have Gaurav head the marketing division at Zupee. As a user-centric, rapidly growing player in a technology-led innovation field, we needed someone who understands marketing well to further enhance Zupee’s positioning and reach. Given Gaurav’s extensive experience in the IT sector, he brings a sound understanding of both B2B and B2C segments and an omnichannel approach to problem-solving. We believe he is the right person for the job and wish him a long association and the very best of stay at Zupee”.
Prior to Zupee, Mehta was with CarDekho (GirnarSoft) for four-and-a-half years as the CMO.

Before joining GirnarSoft, Mehta was with the OLX Group for four years as CMO.
Mehta started his career with Elephant Design as Project Manager, and then had joined JWT as Account Executive. In 2003 he started his own branding and marketing consultancy, Brand DNA. After three years, he joined iSmart Panache as Marketing Manager and then moved to Yahoo India as Chief Manager for more than four years.
Mehta did his PGDBA in Brand Management, Media, Market Research, Marketing from MICA.
