Jaskaran Singh Kapany joins Xiaomi India as the Head of Marketing

Xiaomi India has appointed Jaskaran Singh Kapany as the Head of Marketing. Kapany earlier was with Paytm as the Head of Marketing and left the company in February this year.

Manu Jain, Vice-President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Mi India, shared the announcement via LinkedIn post.

“Happy to share that Jaskaran Singh Kapany has joined Xiaomi India as Head of Marketing,” he wrote.

Kapany had joined Paytm in 2015 as the Head of Marketing and was responsible for making the brand one of the most trusted household names in India. Prior to this role, he was with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company as the Vice President - Marketing and Ecommerce for more than seven years.

He started his career with JWT in 2003 as the Senior Account Director and worked there for five years.
