Maya Hari, VP and Managing Director, APAC & SE-Asia & India for Twitter, has now been elevated as the VP, Global Strategy and Operations, Twitter. Hari shared the development on social media and said she will be based in Singapore.

Twitter has also decided to merge Japan, South Korea and the Asia Pacific operations together into a unified regional structure that will be led by Yu Sasamoto. Hari was also the Senior Director, Product Strategy & Sales - APAE (APAC + LATAM + MENA) for Twitter and has been associated with the company for almost seven years.
Prior to Twitter, Hari has been associated with companies such as Microsoft where she was the Head of Marketing, Partnerships and PR - MSN. She has also been associated with Condé Nast and Samsung in various roles.
