Hindustan Unilever Limited increased its advertising spends by 20% in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2021 ending March 31 over the same period in the previous year.

The FMCG giant spent Rs 1,418 crore on advertising and promotion in Q4 FY21, up 20.7% from Rs 1,175 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
For the entire fiscal year, HUL’s adspend saw marginal growth of less than 1%. The company spent a total of Rs 4,754 crore on advertising in FY21, 0.9% up from Rs 4,713 crore in the previous fiscal.
