News18 Uttar Pradesh/Uttarakhand has announced a special programming for Kumbh Mela 2021, helping viewers to get regular updates, screening of special days aartis and also apprising people of protocols that needs to be followed during their visit to fair.
Kumbh Mela is one of the biggest Hindu festivals celebrated every four years. It's a pilgrimage that devotees take in the hope of washing away their past sins. The Mela has the largest gathering as lakhs of devotees come from all over the country. However this year Covid has cast its shadow over the fair, limiting it for a period of 30 days starting April 1.
Special shows have been designed on the days of Shahi Snans, highlighting the importance of the dates and various rituals that are followed on this day.
A daily fast news segment, Mahakumbh Top 10, will give top 10 updates from the fair in a crisp format.
Daily Kumbh special capsules will detail out what’s happening in the fair along with showcasing stories from various Akhadas.
This line-up will ensure that viewers stay up-to-date with latest news and happenings of Kumbh 2021 and are well educated about the procedures and precautions while visiting Mahakumbh 2021.
