Japan’s Kao Corporation partners with Nykaa, introduces Bioré in India

Bioré is all set to meet the growing demands of Indian consumers with its skincare products and educate customers on the importance of UV protection with its UV range

Kao Corporation, a manufacturer of premium beauty brands in Japan, has introduced the launch of their global brand, Bioré, in partnership with lifestyle retailer Nykaa.

The corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, is recognised for its cutting-edge innovation and high-quality products in the segment of hygiene, personal care as well as cosmetic products.

Bioré is all set to meet the growing demands of Indian consumers for efficacious innovations and high-quality skincare products, with the aim to educate customers, both new and existing alike, on the importance of UV protection with its UV Range.

The ideology of Bioré is inspired by its Japanese roots, with the notion of enhancing and advancing, and asserting innovation in their DNA — with the promise of delivering “the joy of bare skin” for its consumers.

Since its inception in 1980, Bioré has made its footprint across more than 60 countries in the UV and sun care market. The lightweight texture of the brand’s UV Range provides a watery shield that offers everyday high protection from UV rays.

Bioré uses micro defence formula, which uses a capsule including, UV protection agents. Kao has obtained a patent in Japan for this technology. It evenly covers the skin from UV rays at the invisible micro level. This water-based sunscreen has a very high evaluation for its fresh texture despite its oil-soluble UV protection. Biore technology’s formula stays on the skin surface even after sweating or watering and it can keep UV protecting effect though it contains not only hydrophilic ones but also much amount of hydrophilic ingredients.

Bioré is set to spread its avant-garde horizon to the Indian Market, through Nykaa. The brand offers highly anticipated UV Range, as well as a selection of  makeup removers, blackhead remover pore strips named “Pore pack”, to name a few.
